The land of Cache Valley Utah was home to the Northwestern Shoshone Tribe of Pangwiduka. The Bear River Massacre occurred on these lands in 1863 where all but 7 of the tribe of chief Bear Hunter were killed. May we remember, respect and serve those ancestors still present on the land.
